The 14th Annual Brayden Ottenbreit Close Cuts for Cancer Head-Shaving Event along with the OneMatch "5 Minutes For The Fight" Bone Marrow & Stem Cell Cheek Swab Event were held on Saturday, May 28th at the Parkland Mall.
The Head-Shaving Event had a total of 57 participants and raised $42,719.67 for cancer research through the Canadian Cancer Society. $2,463.28 was also raised local cancer initiatives which donated $1,000 to the Health Foundation for the new hospital conceptual plan, with the remainder funding one night stays at the Regina Cancer Patient Lodge for local cancer patients and their attendants.
